A vote for me isn’t just a vote for my business. It’s a vote for every woman who has ever thought, “People like me don’t build successful businesses.” I didn’t start with money, qualifications, investors or connections. I started with determination and a willingness to keep going when things didn’t work. I’ve experienced failed businesses, serious illness, losing my home and having to rebuild my life. Instead of allowing those experiences to define what I couldn’t do, I used them to build something that could help other women. Today, my biggest achievement isn’t simply the businesses I’ve built. It’s watching women I’ve supported build businesses of their own, gain customers, create income and realise what they’re capable of. That’s why I created OWN. I want practical business education to be accessible to women who might never see themselves represented in traditional business environments. Your vote would help us reach more of those women.
